Join Us for The third annual Picnic in the Park

Saturday, October 13, 2018

in Olbrich Park overlooking the beautiful Lake Monona.

This historically themed evening will be an experience expertly crafted by Event Essentials.

With Picnic in the Park, Event Essentials strives to create more than an event, but rather an experience.  Picnic in the Park has moved from Tenney Park its inaugural year, to Hoyt Park last year, and now Olbrich Park as we step back in time this year with a roaring 1920’s theme.

We are excited and thankful to partner with local celebrity chefs Jonny Hunter (Forequarter/Underground Food Collective), Phil Hurley and John Gadau (Sardine/Gates & Brovi/Marigold’s) and Tommy Gering (Casetta) for an era-inspired feast paired with wine and cocktails.

Live music will be provided by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and a post-dinner performance from singer Gerri DiMaggion for some swanky speakeasy fun.  Themed attire is certainly encouraged but not required (heels are not encouraged, but tents are heated so no worries there!).  This is truly Madison’s most unique event, and we promise you a memorable evening in support of a great cause!

Please Join Us!

Time: 4PM- 10PM

Tickets: $140 per person

             $1,100 for a table of 8

Date: October 13th, 2018

Attire: Semi-Formal

Tents will be heated but part of the venue will be on grass, plan foot ware accordingly.

The wet weather has required us to place the tents near the Olbrich beach & the Biergarten.  The closest parking lot is off of Atwood Avenue across from Walter Street. There is also parking available across the street at the Olbrich ball fields as well as parking on the neighboring street.  Do NOT park at Olbrich Gardens. We will have golf cart shuttles to assist with transporting to the best of our ability.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
